The fusion lab..
Everything you need to know is on the name. Excellent food at a very reasonable price.
This street food in the Armadale market offers a big range of different Asian food for gourmets, but on everyone's hand range!
We tried the fish tacos, the chefs recommended, and the baos with the pork.
We will be back for more, as its location is brilliant and the price really good for the quality and the concept. -

I have eaten at Fusion Lab about 3 times, trying different things each time. The price, as mentioned by Natalie, is maybe a bit on the higher side for a lunch but I think its overall worth it. (Although maybe not the sort of meal that would really fill you up if you were really hungry).
I have had the fish tacos, the slow cooked short ribs and most recently the Dragon Bowl. The fish tacos were pretty good, short ribs tasty and the Dragon Bowl was good too.
Fusion Lab is located right next to Viet Shack - part of the same family - and they serve similar sort of food. Also just opposite is Gym Shack which is all part of the same family (and opened by the same people). This is similar to Kettlebell Kitchen with high protein and healthy carb meals - (still not had a chance to try Gym Shack yet).
One thing to mention, with Vietnamese food generally, it often has coriander in it so if you don't like it, mention this and can you have what you order without it - which I forgot when I got the short ribs. -

I initially baulked at spending £7.99 on the KFC for lunch, as I try to keep lunch under £6 (including drink) but as it turns out this portion is so massive you won't be hungry for much dinner, so you can save money that way! Generally very tasty - make sure you dig around for the kimchi at the bottom as it's a nice contrast to the relatively heavy chicken and chips - both done very well though.
Will def be back to sample more options! -

Very nice indeed! Good job Mr Shack of The Vietnam Shack! Thank you for this fusion collaboration. I really enjoyed the roast pork cos it really crispy and crispy the right way and the meat itself was moist and well seasoned! The rice was slightly not sticky enough for my liking but the sweet siracha sauce was the glue! The fresh herbs was a good Vietnamese fusion to the dish, really added new flavours that I'd like to try again. Good job on the kimchee but I prefer it a bit more fermented! The beef rib was a bit of a disappointment as it lacked a bit of depth in the seasoning front. The glaze lacked some pomegranate flavour that the menu had promised. The fish in Chinese beer batter and squid ink tacos were awesome and definitely live up to the hype! The fish was beautifully cooked! Really enjoyed it! Would definitely come back for a quick lunch again!

A great addition to the lunchtime offerings in the Arndale market. Not super cheap but still mostly affordable. I had the fish tacos which were delicious and a good size for a lunch that will fill you up but not require you to take a nap afterwards. The fish was perhaps a little bit too greasy but the flavours were all excellent and I appreciated all the garnishes and condiments on top. I'll be back for sure.
